Oktoberfest: Beer Tasting and Brats
Calling all the frauleins and fraus of Priory! Dust off those lederhosen and dirndls (not required--just encouraged) for some Oktoberfest fun on Saturday, October 7th. The Manuelians' Atherton backyard will be transformed into a lovely German Biergarten. Jawohl! Enjoy traditional Bavarian fare: beer, brats and pretzels, and Prost the night away with a German beer tasting. Who knows, there may be even a few rounds of the chicken dance in your future.

Bollywood Bash
Cue the marigold garlands, nehru jackets and saris. Join us for a Bollywood Bash and enter a cultural and culinary immersion into the land of silk, sitar and spices. This special night will be an explosion of color to please the senses. We will begin with tamarind ginger margaritas and be served sumptuous buffet dinner featuring a mix of Indian Street food and elegant Indian flavours. Be entertained with Bollywood dance performances and tantric yoga poses. Delight in Mehndi body art and henna tattoos for all guests. The spectacular Agarwal home will serve as our Taj Mahal for the evening on Saturday August 26th for an unbelievable experience.

Musical Evening: A private house concert
Join us for an unforgettable performance by world-class musicians (including Priory parents) at the Melton home in Portola Valley.
Pianist Laura Dahl (Director of Keyboard Studies, Stanford University) is an active international performer and educator, appearing at Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall and Stern Grove, Bing Concert Hall, and the Carmel Bach Festival, among others.
Ken Goodson, when not working with his Stanford students and colleagues on engineering teaching and research, can be found moonlighting as a professional baritone with appearances throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, there will be other special
musical guests.
This evening will be magical, with good wine, food, company, and extraordinary music! Come to the Melton home on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

An Evening with Nate Persily
Our next Presidential election is just year away. Come for a deep dive into elections with Stanford Law School Professor Nate Persily in a small intimate setting. Nate will cover topics form election fraud, voting rights, political parties, campaign finance, redistricting, and election administration as well as share his thoughts on cybersecurity. Nate is the co-director of the Stanford Cyber Policy Center, Stanford Program on Democracy and the Internet, and the Stanford-MIT Healthy Elections Project. His work supported local election officials in taking the necessary steps during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide safe voting options for the 2020 election. Please join us for cocktails and lecture on the Priory campus from 6:00-7:30pm on Thursday, April 20th. Wine and beer and snacks provided by the Hildebrandt family.
