Coffee cupping, or coffee tasting, is the practice of observing the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee. Enjoy a true coffee cupping experience with certified coffee sommeliers, also known as Q Graders. A perfect introduction, you’ll experience amazing coffees and learn to taste them like professionals - identifying, describing, and discriminating aroma, taste, and body in coffees. Save Sunday, September 21 from 10:00-12:00 at the Day's Portola Valley home for fabrewlous time.

Mahjong Mavens, let's Charleston like it's 1920! If you are a Mahjong player, please join us for a fun afternoon of Mahj and lunch. Dots, Bams or Cracks, the Mahjong sets will be provided, but if you have the new 2025 card, please bring it with you. It will be all fun and games until someone throws a joker! Grab your boots and scoot on over for a delicious barbecue and some line dancing with your fellow Priory parents. Don't know how to line dance? No problem! We will have an instructor teach us the simple steps so we can dance the Cotton-Eyed Joe and Tush Push all night long. Feast on Texas barbecue and margaritas. It’s that thyme again! Join us for this iconic annual dinner party under the stars in The Franklin Garden. This farm-to-table dinner experience will feature a delicious menu featuring the best of local and seasonal ingredients to tantalize your palate and local Santa Cruz wines. The evening includes appetizers, dinner, dessert, wine, and live music, all in the beautiful setting of our campus garden. Delight in Priory's special traditions like the monks’ pizza. Straight Up Toasted: Dads' Poker Party

Ante up and join your fellow Priory Dads for an evening of camaraderie at the Straight Up & Toasted whiskey tasting and poker night. Embark on an epic tasting experience as you explore a variety of whiskeys. Learn about each one's unique origin, age, smell, and, most importantly, taste! Continue the evening sipping your favorite whiskey, beer, or wine as you enjoy a friendly Texas Hold’em Poker tournament (you don't need to be a poker player to enjoy this evening, and we'll be happy to teach newcomers). Each player starts with $1,000 of chips at a $60 buy-in. The Priory Family Association receives half the evening's winnings, and the top three winners take home the rest! This is a night you won't want to miss. So see you on Saturday October 4th at 7:00 pm at Casa McIntyre.
